Issuing pre-calculation
With the help of the detailed goods description received from the customer, we determine the customs tariff number , examie the documents of origin then we can calculate the the amount of duty and tax regarding the current import procedure.
Based on the commercial documents sent in advance, we calculate the amount of the customs duty to be paid at the scheduled time of arrival, which consists of the amount of customs duty and import taxes.
Regarding the pre-calculation it is very important that the Customs Authority uses the customs exchange rate only for 1 month, so it is possible to calculate several weeks in advance for informational purposes only. This exchange rate is the authority's unique exchange rate, it is not the same as the MNB's exchange rates.
